ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Blake Hart is a PhD Candidate at Liberty University. His dissertation "Catalysts for Change: The Sacralizing Impulse of the Second Great Awakening and Its Transformative Impact on American Higher Education" is currently under review in preparation for the final defense of the project. Blake's historical specialization is in American religious history, with a particular focus on intellectual and cultural history.
